This new simultaneous process eliminates the wait. Once downloaded, books are available to the reader for two weeks. Downloads can be renewed for an additional two weeks. The library will use a token system that allows patrons to “purchase” books using an allotted five free tokens per week. Each book requires one to four tokens and unused tokens can roll over for up to four weeks.
